I'm 20 years old, I went to see the show on July 16th with my boyfriend, (the one who got me to fall IN LOVE with Pink Floyd, we are HUGE fans) and I want to say WOW you guys kicked ass, and though I figured the show would be amazing, I didn't expect you guys to be THIS amazing. Comfortably Numb, and Wish you were Here, were played so beautifully that it brought some tears to my eye

every song was perfect. I enjoyed EVERY single second of this performance, I wish it went on all night! I would LOVE to see you guys again, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. and I really really mean that! hopefully before winter....because some amazing pink floyd music, and the beautiful summer night went perfect together

I'm sad to say, I got there a little late, because the shoes I was wearing made me walk slow....haha so I'm not sure if it was one of your first songs or not, but I really really really wanted to hear "Breath"...that song takes me somewhere else...EVERYtime I hear it, and I can only imagine how amazing you guys would perform that

and the glow sticks...lol I've read what other people have said, and omg I totally dont think it was a bad thing at all! maybe not safe....so therefore not such a good idea,, but I KNOW....everyone who threw a glow stick was doing it out of excitement and appreciation! NOT cuz "dislike" or "boredom", duh...I mean, when they were throwing them they were only screaming and clapping! I kinda wanted one to fly at ME, just so I can have an extra one but none did, and if they weren't thrown....I think they were an excellent idea, considering Pink Floyd music generally draws and older crowd.....who might not want to scream and jump around....waving a glow stick is an awesome way to say "hell yeah! i love this song" without straining your voice....or hurting anyone's ears.

which brings me to the article I read in the new paper the next day about the fans at the show and WTF ...i mean i know its impossible for a reporter to get ALL sides of what actually IS true but GEEZE.....he thinks the fans suck so bad? he sucks! and im sorry if that's rude..........but he wrote something along the lines of how no one was listening, (just cuz hes sat next to ONE DRUNK LOUD WOMAN) and how you guys might as well could have been drop back music, and I NEED YOU GUYS TO KNOW, that is bull shit. couldnt be further from the truth. My boyfriend and I, as well as the 50 people around me that I would often take glances at (to see if they were digging you guys as much as me) and TRUST ME, they were WAY into it. also, WHAT does he expect? some floyd songs you just need to sit, listen and take it in.during comfortably numb....the crowd was quite. NOT cuz they were bored...cuz they were enjoying the song.....and notice....after that song ended...is when the glowsticks started flying. (APPRECIATION) AND yeah...even though I was screaming my face off after every song......not all fans at that show were 20 yrs old! I took my mom to see bonjovi she LOVES him, had the best time at the concert,but she didnt scream or stand up. so I dont think it was an accurate article that Robert Kinsler of the OC register wrote about your show on july 16. Wondering if we need to have an adult with us or if we can just go on our own (much preferred), we've been to many concerts on our own before, it's just it might be an alcohol free venue so I better check before I buy the tickets.
